The morning commute

August 11th, 2008

Rode Buelly in to London today. Its 70 miles each way so I had to leave pretty early. Left home at 5 this morning and was walking into the office for 06:15. Lovely trip down the M11 for a change and the London streets were virtually empty.

The bikes running like a peach after having the Maz Breather Mod done as part of my Saturday service at Blackbear. Its removed all of the lumps from the engine especially noticeable when starting off from cold. MPG wise I’m currently getting over 60 on a long run which I reckon is pretty amazing for a 1 litre engine. The Zero Gravity screen has totally changed the bikes long distance capabilities. I can cruise easily at 70 now without suffering buffeting and the like. Its just right.

Gotta say I’m lovvin the CityX.
