Royal Enfield Clubman EFI Pictures

December 9th, 2008

Haywards, my local Royal Enfield dealership have been kind enough to send me these high resolution pictures of the 2009 Royal Enfield Clubman EFI. I have not seen any pictures of the bike without the pillion speed hump removed so it was good to see how big the pillion seat is. As you can see, its small but functional. The new Clubman looks great in my eye. It costs more than the Bullet but is definitely worth a look if you fancy something different.

These pictures were taken by Haywards so thanks go out to them for allowing us to publish them.

  • The Clubman looks great, but what about that front mudguard?
I suppose it could be replaced, but talk about spoiling the ship for a hap’orth of tar, etc.!

  • The problem with the front mud guard is that it also has to accommodate a bigger wheel on one of the other variants.

Personally I can live with it coz I wont see it when riding it :-)

Really interested in one though as a 2nd bike to fiddle with and cruise around on…

  • has anyone ridden one? do bits fall of and bolts shake themselves loose etc. 5k seems a lot for this at a glance but it is cool in a retro light. Does anyone have any feedback on living with one?

  • I don’t currently own one but I’ve ridden them a number of times now. I would say that they should be classed as a hands on bike. Bits do come loose. Nothing serious though. I’m talking about the odd bracket here and there. If I had one I’d probably use thread lock on the bike and that would probably sort things out.

Living with an Enfield id say is a rewarding experience. They are lovely bikes and are so much fun to ride. I’m used to big powerful bikes but riding an Enfield makes me relax and slow down to a safer pace.

These bikes can be ridden in a pretty spirited manner and can be really rewarding.

I’d find a good dealer that has an interest in the bikes, grab a good long test ride and enjoy.

  • A good 2011 for all of You. Jürgen Meurer

  • Hi there was hoping you can help me. Where can I get that seat from?

  • Give Watsonian Squire a call. http://www.watsonian-squire.com they supply the seats. Hope this helps.
