Last ride of the year

I managed to get our for a 20 mile blast yesterday on the Buell. Ive not ridden it for three weeks and it felt great getting a bit of time out. The throttle appeared to be sticking though so it wasn’t the most relaxed ride out i have had. My new cold killer base layer trousers were great and I was as snug as a bug in a rug even though the outside temperature was only just about freezing. It showed that good gear can keep you warm without having to electrify yourself.
Once home I dismantled the throttle grip on the right bar and gave it a clean out. It only took 15 minutes to clean and lubricate the cables as they enter the throttle grip assembly. Now its nice and smooth again.
This morning there’s more snow on the ground so I wont be getting a new years ride out for the coming days
