So one week on and the 1125r is going well. Managed to squeeze 350 careful miles so far. Really impressed with this bike. I’ve not owned a sports bike since my old Yamaha fz600 back in 2002 so have been a bit sore due to the riding position. This was expected so I’m not concerned.

I’ve spent nearly every evening tweaking the suspension. This was due to the manual having incorrect info. Once I obtained the correct settings off of the Buell site I had to start again. Now the ride is firm but compliant. Just right for the local back lanes.

Fuel range isn’t as bad as I was expecting. My first tank was only 36 mpg. The 2nd tank was 42 mpg so I’m hoping it’ll improve as the engine relaxes. 150 miles to a tank of fuel will be easy to achieve.

Not much else to report just now but I’ll keep the woffle coming.
