Buelly is sick :-( but I've got a loan XB12s to play with though :-)

Noticed this week during my daily commute that the throttle seemed to be sticking. Last night I lubricated the cable mechanism around the twist grip but that didn’t make any difference so this morning I trundled off to Blackbear to see what they thought. They diagnosed a faulty throttle body after checking over the cables and twist grip.

Unfortunately they didn’t have a spare one in stock so they have loaned me one of their XB12s bikes for the week. Ive never ridden the 1200cc variant before and did notice the increased power. Got to say I didn’t like the way the bike shook more though. The CityX is definitely smoother in its power delivery and for me is the better bike of the two. I just prefer the way it revs up and feels.

At least I’m mobile for the week whilst my bike is sorted out but there was one slight cock up today. I noticed when I got home that the loan bike had no read tax on it. A call to the gals at Blackbear later and its now in the post to me….
